When mediation with both parties is not possible, for example because a conflict party is not (yet) willing to talk, or because a direct conversation is too difficult, conflict coaching can be a solution.

This format of a conversation between mediator and a conflict party allows for working on a conflict with just one party present. The other conflict party however is also represented, for example, by putting down an extra chair.

Conflict coaching can also be done with both parties in preparation for a mediation process.
